@Jill – i looked at your your previews, but I see you are asking for a few dollars to download the full videos. I don’t know how long they are, but actually, I’m not sure anything longer would really help. 2-3 minutes seems to be long enough for these subjects.

Hi Sylvia,
I’m very excited to find your blog and more excited still to read Working with Tech-Savvy Kids. I’ve been scouring the web for information on how to make kids more tech savvy. I just launched a little project — Hailey Hacks (http://www.haileyhacks.com) — aimed at making tweens (especially girls) more tech savvy. We have two episodes up so far and some 2.0 components to go along with it (Facebook, lolcats, 12seconds, Twitter). We plan to add episodes on things like building a blog, using RSS and customizing Google maps. I would love your opinion if you have time to look.

Thank you so much for the opportunity to download this book for free. I had no problem with the steps and was amazed that it downloaded so quickly. I am sharing this post with others at my school. We are all about engagement and keep engage-o-meters in our classrooms.

Be advised that the file itself is very large- the book is 360+ pages, so be patient when downloading. It will take awhile, depending on your connection speed. I had no difficulty downloading to my Mac via Safari.

Unfortunately the link seems to have broken since yesterday. But this time it’s their fault, not mine. I’ll find the ebook link and fix it. I’m not sure why they changed it since yesterday…

Oops, neither link in post, nor link in comments works for me. Tried in both Firefox & IE.
Ended up going to http://www.ascd.org, then to the shop, then doing a search for the book.

Thanks Sylvia, I’m going to have to find somewhere to print it for cheap though I think. I don’t much like reading bulky large things on my Mac or Adobe’s PDF Reader. Plus then I can highlight things and write in margins.
