NSBA’s T+L Conference – Changing the Way You Think About Education

August 19th, 2009

NSBA’s T+L conference is one of our favorite conferences of the year. It’s unique in the fact that school teams come to the conference, not just technology folks. This provides a terrific range of perspectives and experience that can’t be matched in conferences that focus on one job title or subject area.

Don’t miss the early bird savings opportunity! From the T+L site:

Creating new learning environments to support 21st students is at the heart of the National School Boards Association’s 23rd annual technology and learning conference, T+L, to be held at the Colorado Convention Center, October 28-30, 2009. Discover how to nurture creativity by breaking out of content silos with Frans Johansson and be inspired by Marco Antonio Torres’ stories of success with students using digital media. Through workshops, topical roundtable discussions, field trips, mini-academies on One-to-One Learning, 21st century learning, and Innovative School Design – plus an engaging exhibition – teams of K-12 district leaders will leave Denver with a valuable national perspective. Register by September 15th for the lowest conference fees at www.nsba.org/T+L

PLUS: Do you know an emerging education leader?
The deadline for the annual T+L “20 to Watch” recognition program is Friday, August 21st. It’s a great opportunity to recognize emerging education leaders – with new perspectives – from classroom teachers to superintendents.
